SENIOR CARE HOMES LANSING MI

About Country Living Senior Care

Kelly Grys knows how difficult it can be for families to find quality care for loved ones who are no longer able to live independently. That’s one of the reasons why she and her husband, Michael, opened Country Living in 1998, a 24-hr residential assisted living home for senior citizens ages 65 and older.

Kelly’s Grandmother had her first stroke in 1995 and they were forced to place her where she could receive the care she needed. It was very hard for them to find a place they all felt comfortable with and the difficulty of that decision is really what started to get them thinking about opening their own home.

That’s literally what the Grys family has done. Country Living one of the most inviting and beautifully attractive Assisted Living Homes in the Lansing area. They offer a 7,000 squarefoot home, architecturally designed to promote safety and independence. The property is located in a beautiful and quiet country setting approximately 2 miles from I-96 and the Portland city limits. The home may accommodate up to 12 residents, male or female and over the age of 65. There are large hallways leading to the centrally located common areas. There is a centrally located great room with a 50inch HDTV and fireplace; a formal dining room with hardwood floors; a private sitting room available for family gatherings; and a walk through kitchen with an expanded deck overlooking the Grand River.

The Grys’ have been determined to see their dream of this facility become reality they sold their home and made many sacrifices to make this happen. They are very proud of their accomplishments today and are so grateful to have been able to help so many families already and look forward to continuing this service for many years.
